Business Developer

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused, is a team builder and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. They should be completely open to learning and have a huge appetite for learning and self-development. They should equally be curious with an excellence mindset and is passionate about team building and setting the tone for a healthy work place. Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate team activities:

    Role and Responsibilities 

    Marketing Plan Development 

    • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through marketing efforts. 
    • Draft a plan, present to team, refine with feedback and then implement.
    • Clearly understand and implement digital marketing campaigns which meet specific needs.
    • Create strategies to build a genuine and long lasting connection with the audience.
    • Be up to date with industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

    Content Development and Copywriting

    • Formulate creative ideas for ad and post copy, blog articles and email newsletters.
    • Collaborate with other team members, particular the graphic designer to get the best user experience and make the most meaningful content.
    • Learn content writing and implement lessons in projects ranging from posts, landing page copy, social media, ads to email lists.

    Social Media Marketing

    • Develop a high impact social media marketing strategy.
    • Post content regularly and build a community around the brand. Engage this community and educate them on the product/service.
    • Use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite to schedule and automate posts.
    • Drive followers, engagement, impressions and target at least at a 20% growth rate per month.

    SEO and Email list

    • Develop optimization strategies that increase the company’s search engine results rankings. This include both on page and off page SEO strategies.
    • Do keyword research. Look for both short and long tail keywords with high search volume and have the potential of bringing in new clients. 
    • Monitor regular performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.
    • Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
    • Do periodic SEO Audits and fix issues as per the results of your diagnosis.
    • Identify target audience, create and manage email lists.
    • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels.

    Ads Campaigns

    • Develop great ad ideas and be clear about your goals at the beginning.
    • Coordinate and lead ad copy and content creation. Aim for the audience’s heart and aim to drive traffic.
    • Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase client’s brand awareness

    Analytics

    • Provide analytical reporting of campaigns to team.

    UI/UX Designer

    The ideal candidate for this position is a curious, highly motivated UI/UX Designer that is looking forwards to learn and produce world class apps and websites. With deep passion and empathy for the user, the candidate shall research and produce user interphases that are context specific and obviously intuitive.     Qualifications

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Userbility research and ideation

    • Shall join other team members in exploring the problem and developing the solution out of the problem. Design thinking from problem to solution.
    • Empathize with the user, identify pain points and assess feasibility of viable approaches to providing a painless user experience.
    • Work out a roadmap for the design process.
    • Lead a session on customer journey exploration and product design.

    Wire-framing and brand identity 

    • Sketch out wireframes of difference screens.
    • Test and discuss wireframes with team mates.
    • Select colors, shapes, typography and other brand elements that are inline with the client’s brand identity.

    Designing the screens and prototyping

    • Bring the wireframes to live by designing the layout and adding sample data.
    • Design from onboarding screens, through sign up, welcome to settings screens.
    • Connect the screens, buttons and gestures to bring the design to live. Prototype the entire app.

    Userbility testing

    • Organise userbility testing sessions. Find suitable users for testing, define goals and outline how you will measure and assess them. 
    • Create a suitable environment for testing. Track carefully the non-verbal cues and body language.
    • Develop and implement a userbility testing protocol. Use a quantitive scale to assess userbility such as the System utility scale.
    • Collect feedback and refine the design.

    General

      Graphic Designer

      Produce raster based designs.

          • Using Adobe photoshop or similar tools, should be able to make sophisticated designs. These include flyers, marketing materials, design for print, amongst others.
          • Must avoid copyrights infringements that can make the company liable to law suits. Avoid harvesting unauthorized graphics online.
          • Make suitable graphics for social media that drive engagement and appeal to the target audience.

      Produce vector based graphics

          • Make logos using at least Adobe illustrator or a vector based graphic software.
          • Must be able to make modern responsive logo designs that meet current international standards.
          • Create a brand guide and brand identity and follow up to ensure its proper implementation.
          • Should be able to create or at least edit vector based graphics.
          • Should be able to design modern documents with Adobe Indesign.

      Animation and motion graphics

          • Ability to produce animated graphics or motion works is a big plus. 
          • Use of Adobe After effects is a remarkable advantage. 

      Web Developer

      The perfect candidate is a full stack developer who can build functional and responsive websites and web apps. This includes building from simple static websites to complex dynamic web apps with a great user experience.
